Rachel Eisenmann (she/her) is queer midwest-based artist & educator (twin ports, born & raised… currently located in Iowa), inspired by leadership, vintage literature, reclaimed wood, rescued treasures & nature.

Rachel graduated from University of Wisconsin - Superior, with a degree in Experiential Education, a minor in special education , and a focus on instructional strategies. Her love of the outdoors and education led her to the outdoor industry, spending quite a few years as a director of camp & outdoor experiences and a highschool educator focusing on topics like problem solving, critical thinking, and leadership. She served as a board member for the wilderness education association, with her attention directed towards: diversity, equity, inclusion, recruitment and training on the executive committee, for two years. Rachel is currently the general manager of two local restraunt & bars in Iowa city, called “Camp” & “Scout’s Honor”.

She enjoys iced coffee, local brews, gin & long walks between the trees. Birch trees are her absolute favorite- considering them to be incredibly magical, even though she’s allergic. She’ll take a day in the woods with an old field guide before anything else- adventuring the world with her elderly Jack Russell Terrier, Howard & wife, Syd.
